Not just Made in the USA: Proudly Made in the USA

The 4th of July is coming up, and that means you’re going to see the American flag plastered on… well, everything! From clothing to accessories, lawn ornaments to good old-fashioned flags themselves, you’re going to get your daily fill of red, white, and blue. But do you ever stop to check where all this great patriotic swag is coming from? Chances are it’s being brought in from all over the world, and while it’s not always easy or cheap to buy American-Made, when it comes to the 4th of July, I think you should go the extra effort.

The easiest way to figure out whether a product you’re thinking of buying is made in the USA is how easy it is to spot the country of origin on the product or its packaging. Most times, products made domestically want you to know it and make sure “Proudly made in the USA” is front and center for consumers to see. Our American made lapel pins certainly do. On the back of every one of our domestically made pins you’ll see that stamped into the back, so you know for sure that the flag pin you’re wearing to your 4th of July BBQ is the real deal.

Not everything can be made domestically, for a number of reasons, cost amongst them. But when it comes to patriotic holidays like Memorial day, Flag Day, or the 4th of July, taking the extra step, and spending the extra dollar, to purchase American made products is the right thing to do. American products are made by American men and women, and every dollar that starts and stays in our country helps our economy grow. So check the tag on the side of the American flag staked into your flower garden, and be sure your patriotic lapel pins represent America on the front and on the back. Because you and I were proudly made in the USA, and on the 4th, our swag should be too!
